We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care tailored to their individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with airway management and ventilate patients when necessary.
- Provide personal care and support to patients in nursing homes and senior care settings.
- Document patient information accurately using electronic health records systems like Athenahealth.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a Level I Trauma Center environment to deliver acute care services.
- Engage with pediatric patients and their families, providing education and support as needed.
- Participate in hospice care initiatives, ensuring comfort and dignity for terminally ill patients.
Skills
- Proficient in airway management techniques and procedures.
- Experience in acute care settings, with a strong understanding of patient needs in high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with nursing home protocols and senior care practices.
- Knowledge of pediatric nursing principles and practices.
