Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide support during medical procedures and treatments, including dialyzing patients as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of patient care areas by following aseptic techniques.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide updates on patient status.
- Assist in transporting patients to different areas within the facility as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Patient Care Technician preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology to provide appropriate patient care.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards.
