We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical histories.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document all nursing care provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and wellness strategies.
- Participate in travel nursing assignments as required, adapting to various healthcare settings.
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in inpatient settings or long-term care preferred.
- Familiarity with ophthalmology or hospital medicine is a plus.
- Knowledge of acute care practices and coding is advantageous.
- Proficient in administering injections and understanding aseptic techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including potential travel nursing assignments.
- Previous experience in an operating room (OR) setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
