RN LTC - Weekend

Job Summary
The Nursing Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position involves managing daily operations, providing leadership, and fostering a collaborative environment among healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience in various nursing specialties, including memory care, PICU, hospice palliative medicine, and infectious disease care. The Nursing Supervisor will also be responsible for triaging patient needs and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Duties

• Supervise nursing staff to ensure adherence to best practices in patient care.
• Conduct regular assessments of patient needs and coordinate appropriate care plans.
• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in areas such as sterile processing and triage.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Monitor compliance with healthcare policies and procedures.
• Facilitate training and development opportunities for nursing staff.
• Manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by patients or their families promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license with relevant experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong background in memory care, PICU, hospice palliative medicine, and infectious disease care.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care and improving patient experiences.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour
