Travel LPN

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential nursing care to patients in various settings, including inpatient facilities and emergency rooms. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care while adhering to safety protocols and infection control measures.

Duties

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Assist in patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Provide wound care, including dressing changes and sterile processing.
• Support patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Perform IV insertion and other clinical procedures as needed.
• Assist with specialized procedures such as cardiac catheterization and spinal taps.
• Educate patients and families on health management and infection control practices.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in travel nursing assignments as required.

Experience
Candidates should possess a valid LPN license and have experience in various nursing environments. Preferred skills include:

• Familiarity with sterile processing techniques.
• Experience in inpatient care settings or emergency room environments.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols.
• Proficiency in ventilating patients when necessary.
• Ability to lift patients safely while adhering to best practices for patient handling.
