Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Assist with airway management and basic life support as needed.
- Conduct assessments related to internal medicine and document patient progress accurately.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Participate in case management activities, coordinating care plans for patients.
- Perform procedures such as botulinum toxin treatment and cardiac catheterization when required.
- Maintain knowledge of anatomy to assist with patient education and care.
- Support patients with suture removal and wound care as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Strong skills in airway management, basic life support, and infection control.
- Experience or knowledge in internal medicine, home care, and case management preferred.
- Familiarity with botulinum toxin treatment and cardiac catheterization is a plus.
- Solid understanding of anatomy for effective patient assessment and education.
