Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer
Location: Glen Allen VA
3 Days Hybrid from Day 1
- Preferred only local candidate or near by Virginia
- Minimum experience is 10 years
- Need Certified candidates (DevOps Certified and CKAD Certified)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate deployments and ensure high availability of applications.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Manage and monitor Azure cloud resources, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure best practices in code quality and security.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to cloud and DevOps practices.
- Provide support for application deployments and manage version control using Git.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
- Strong expertise in Azure DevOps services, including Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Artifacts.
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and experience with programming languages (e.g., C#, Python).
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or similar.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Understanding of networking concepts and cloud architecture.
