Title: Director of Educational Services (Exempt)

Description:
As a Director of Educational Services for Covelo Group, Inc. you will assume a leadership role in developing and nurturing professional relationships with clients, vendors, and other business partners. You'll be introducing partners to Covelo Group while developing and testing new strategies for business development. You will be responsible for overseeing strategic planning and weekly and monthly benchmark metrics for Covelo Group sales team members.
The person in this role should manage and work closely with the entire sales team to fully understand and manage the clients, their markets and their recruiting needs. You will be responsible for ensuring and managing the success of full-cycle development of a territory. You must also proactively enforce standards of performance across the team and be responsible for managing, training, and reviewing team members. Lastly, you need to be passionate about what you do, hard-working, organized, articulate and eager to work in a team environment, all while continually evolving and improving your skills and the skills of those around you.
Responsibilities:
- Execute, alongside the senior leadership team, the vision and mission for the tactical and strategic operation of the company
- Work collaboratively with and be responsive and responsible to other team members to maintain a positive, professional, and productive work environment
- Cultivate and follow through on leads and prospects, developing and maintaining client relationships, presenting the company’s services, analyzing client needs and negotiating proposals.
- Commit to a targeted level of new client growth and profit by implementing the overall strategic direction for business development within the company.
- Plan, initiate, and conduct sales conversations with key decisions makers via inbound and outbound phone calls, in and out of office meetings/presentations and other effective means to generate new business and expand existing business
- Develop sales presentations for new business prospects and create proposals to include research of category and clear understanding of prospects business needs
- Support and execute on the mission, ethics, and goals of the company
Skills and Experience Required:
- Self-motivated and proven previous successful prospecting and cold call sales experience.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work effectively with internal and external business partners including vendors, clients and employees.
- Excellent client communication skills that allow you to influence decision makers and negotiate effectively.
- Previous experience reviewing and analyzing metrics to produce employment reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office, social media platforms (LinkedIn and Facebook) and CRMs (Bullhorn)
- Ability to devise solutions quickly, always with the company’s best interest and reputation in mind.
- Ability to travel by plane or automobile and manage a flexible work schedule.
- A minimum of 5 years of business development experience within a staffing/recruiting agency
Working Conditions:
This position will be required to sit or stand for long periods of time working on a computer and talking on the phone. This position will be required to attend events and meetings outside of the office.
