Zokos is an online reseller, providing an eco-friendly solution to home goods and building supplies returned to big-box retail stores. We are striving to reduce the environmental strain of an estimated 5 billion pounds of eCommerce returns that are directed into landfills every year by providing the time and technology to efficiently process these items and get them back online for resale. We pass along the environmental and cost savings to consumers who benefit from access to products in top-rate condition at a fraction (20-50% off, on average) of the retail purchase price. We operate from our headquarters in South Bend, IN and offer limited distribution from the site.
Zokos has developed rScan, a software system, to process, track, post, and resell our inventory and we are refining it as we grow as a company. We are looking for people excited to work for a growing company, able to help us to process and ship inventory, and willing to use their experience in the warehouse to improve the software and our processes. Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for processing, shelving, maintaining, and shipping products in the Zokos warehouse. This includes, but is not limited to, utilizing rScan software to process, track, and post.
Job Functions
Processing:
- Perform quality control on incoming shipments of goods.
- Using the rScan app, assess the quality of inventory and complete the required process to log new inventory into the warehouse system.
- Manually pack shipping orders, ensuring that orders are packed as safely as possible for transport.
Inventory Management:
- Make sure that inventory is placed in the proper location, shelves are clean and well-organized, and that a safe working environment is maintained.
- Use rScan app to correct any inventory errors and update inventory, as needed.
General

Essential Functions
- Strong attention to detail, especially as you will be assessing a wide variety of products.
- Ability to use a computer and app on a smartphone, in addition to other inventory management tools.
- The ability to focus to get orders fulfilled and inventory posted.
- The ability to use a pallet jack, baler, box cutter, conveyors, and other tools in a safe manner.
- The ability to stand on your feet for the duration of your shift.
- The ability to work safely and responsibly in a warehouse setting.
- The ability to consistently lift 50 lbs throughout the shift, including reaching, stooping and bending
- The desire to understand our business and how to improve our processes.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in an ever-changing environment.
- A good attitude, which isn’t always a happy attitude but always willing to communicate and work respectfully with others.
- Strong work ethic and sense of initiative
Qualifications, Training, and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- One year continuous work history is preferred, especially in a startup or warehouse environment.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
