With that growth, we are seeking a highly motivated, qualified Landfill Construction Superintendent. Responsibilities/Qualifications
The Landfill Site Construction Superintendent must be capable of working independently as well as able to collaborate with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, problem solving and positive results in a large, fast paced construction company.
Requirements
- 5 years supervisory experience which should include a strong background in site work and general earth work (landfill construction experience a plus).
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required (basic computer skills needed), managing profitability and work delegation.
- Candidates must be comfortable with supervising subcontractors and other field staff by evaluating, and monitoring their performance.
- Maintenance of a healthy and safe work environment by enforcement of standard company policies and procedures and compliance with all state/federal regulations is required.
- High School diploma or GED required.
