Job Summary: Support diversified activities relating to the daily production and test environment of ZOLL Medical products.
Essential Functions
- \u2022 Daily manufacturing and test support including complex Test Fixture and Test Cable Build and De-Bug.
- Troubleshoots manufacturing failures or conducts laboratory activities in support of root cause analysis and identification of corrective actions in conjunction with yield improvement activities.
- Assists with process development and improvement activities. Supports the implementation and validation of process and product documentation.
- \u2022 Develops and implements various tooling and fixtures to meet the needs of the Manufacturing department.
- \u2022 Supports and implements Department PMs, ESD Bench Set-Ups & repairs, ESD Smock Test, managing ESD Smock distribution, ESD and PM database & updates in MES.
- \u2022 Other duties as assigned.
- \u2022 Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level and rework PCB assemblies with surface mount and through-hole components.
- \u2022 Ability to read & understand technical schematics, (Assembly drawings, BOMs, etc.) Ability to set-up & use test equipment including but not limited to: oscilloscopes, signal generators, Digital Multi-meters, etc. (Essential for performing functional test & debug of reworked or assembled test fixtures)
- Mechanical Assembly Skills required
- Computer literacy is required. \\
- IPC Soldering Certification a plus
- Familiarity with operating in an ISO-9000 and Lean Manufacturing environment a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours.
- Currently enrolled in a Technical High School or equivalent.
- 1 - 2 years of related experience.
