Description
Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) are the bedrock of student success in our education company. CSRs connect with students to further explain the program and set the stage for success. Then throughout the program, the CSR is the point of contact for all questions or concerns while also supporting students to meet the program requirements including starting an externship. Upon graduation, the CSR then helps the students find jobs.
Salary: Depending on experience
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with students to identify and secure suitable job openings and externship opportunities while ensuring proper documentation of their progress and approvals.
- Respond to all student communication (inbound calls, support tickets, and SMS) in a timely manner.
- Monitor student satisfaction through surveys and work collaboratively with other departments to identify areas for improvement.
- Closeout classes and issue certificates no later than four weeks after the graduation date.
- Support enrollment, student development, and retention services while ensuring a quality learning experience.
- Manage a group of assigned students and coach each through their program, through proactive and timely outreach.
- Encourage and support students through daily and weekly outreach as they work to develop skills and knowledge for academic success.
- Offer and teach students how to use resources to help maximize the success of each student.
- Be a liaison for students, enabling them to connect with various departments.
- Work every 6th Saturday to answer phones.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM and other organizational software
Qualifications & Experience
- 3 years customer service experience
- Experience as a Dental and Medical Assistant strongly preferred
- Higher education experience preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
