We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented, technology-leveraging, process oriented Accountant and Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales and growth efforts by managing and streamlining administrative processes, facilitating communication with customers and between departments, and ensuring that our sales processes run smoothly. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, a technology-leveraging mindset and a customer-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities
- Provide CPG accounting and sales administration support to the team, including processing orders via EDI, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
- Processing Amazon transactions manually and automating the process
- Follow up and supporting customer inquiries.
- Customer service to promote products.
- Collaborate with the sales team to process orders timely and accurately
- Working with sales and production to forecast sales and production planning
- Disputing and collecting shortage and chargebacks from large and mid size retailers
- Tracking sales activities and reporting
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Support inside sales activities by preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating deliveries.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss strategies for improving sales performance and collaboration.
Experience
- Proven experience in an accounting administration or similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with EDI and timely processing of POs, ASN, Invoices and other transactions.
- Strong proficiency in using Quick Books
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in office administration, CPG brand or manufacturer, chain retailers, and Amazon order processing, customer service or inside sales will be advantageous.
