Job Description:
- Our client, a leading contractor, is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support Combat Mission Systems projects. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and fielding military systems, including combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic and electrical systems.
- Utilize modeling and analysis tools for simulations and verification procedures.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities for project needs.
- Conduct engineering analysis of military product components.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in analog and digital circuit design & analysis.
- Proficiency in schematics, interconnect drawings, and interface control documents.
- Experience with circuit simulation tools (PSpice/LTspice).
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on troubleshooting using oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, LabVIEW, Test Stand, RS485, J-Tag, CANBus.
- Experience with OrCAD, Visio, and military wiring harness/cable assembly design.
- Programming National Instruments test equipment (LabVIEW, Test Stand).
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of experience OR
- Master s degree with 1 year of experience
