Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead our IT Application Rationalization Program. This role focuses on assessing, consolidating, and optimizing the state s application portfolio to reduce redundancy, lower costs, and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to drive application
consolidation, modernization, and contract restructuring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the IT Application Rationalization roadmap.
- Oversee assessment and inventory of the application portfolio (usage, costs, and functionality).
- Identify and recommend consolidation, modernization, or decommissioning strategies.
- Partner with business and IT leaders to align application usage with organizational goals.
- Track and report KPIs, risks, and progress to executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- 5 years in program/project management, with 3 years leading IT application rationalization initiatives.
- Experience managing large-scale IT transformation programs.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, application lifecycle management, and enterprise architecture.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
