Job Description:
- We are seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to support Vertical Launching Systems & Canister products. The role involves mechanical design, analysis, and production support, working with PTC Creo Parametric 4.0, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with military specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical products (ammunition handling, gun systems, missile launchers).
- Conduct technical analysis, testing, and evaluation using specialized tools.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards & military specifications.
- Develop 3D CAD models & technical documentation.
- Present Change Notices to MRB, including mechanical & electrical component selection.
- Serve as Technical POC for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) & Notices of Revisions.
- Provide production support from shop floor development to full-scale manufacturing.
- Collaborate with Suppliers, Procurement, Quality, Operations, and Electricians to resolve design issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in mechanical engineering & design.
- Proficiency in PTC Creo Parametric 4.0 / Pro-E.
- Experience with military/commercial design standards (preferred).
- Familiarity with Root Cause Failure Analysis (preferred).
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
