Position Title: Armed Security Officer (Overnight) – Healthcare Facility
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Full-Time (Static Post)
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour (Overtime Opportunities Available)
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week (Overnight)
Anticipated Start Date: April 22, 2025
Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly professional and CLEET Level IV-certified Armed Security Officer for a full-time, static security post (Overnight) within a healthcare facility. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Candidates must be dependable, well-equipped, and demonstrate sound judgment and strong interpersonal skills, especially in sensitive or high-stress situations. Prior experience in healthcare security or client-facing environments is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a constant and visible armed security presence at the healthcare facility
- Monitor access control points and enforce entry procedures per site protocols
- Respond quickly and appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances
- Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas as assigned
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain clear communication with leadership
- Uphold strict confidentiality standards, especially within patient care environments
- Support staff in de-escalating conflicts or disruptive behavior as needed
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, appearance, and situational awareness at all times
Job Requirements:
- CLEET Licensing: All personnel must possess valid Oklahoma CLEET certifications for Level I, II, and IV (Armed) and maintain physical copies of all licenses on site as inspectable items
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check
- Equipment: Must provide your own duty firearm, belt, and ballistic vest
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable security experience – healthcare preferred
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation with the ability to travel moderately
- Strong communication, reporting, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work overnight (10:00PM - 6:00AM)
