Zone 4 is a nationwide leader in installation of automated storage and retrieval systems, advanced material handling, racking storage systems and label installations servicing the retail, e-commerce, logistics, and grocery sectors. Zone 4 is rapidly growing and is looking for a Material Handling Solutions Installer to join our team.
The Material Handling Solutions Installer will interact directly with the MHS Foreman and coworkers on each project to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and timeline. The MHS Installer is responsible for executing a variety of general labor and specific trade work tasks including Staging, deployment, operational set up, floor engineering, installation of storage solutions to include, but not limited to pallet racking, mezzanines, shelving and conveyor systems to ensure the successful execution of the project and customer satisfaction. Strong work ethic, positive attitude and promptness are key attributes of a successful MHS Installer. The MHS Installers job also includes ensuring that work process and quality supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
This is a full-time travel position.
Primary responsibilities:
- Operating material handling equipment including forklift, scissor lift and floor cleaner
- Utilize equipment, tools, and supplies to support execution of projects
- Follow and promote all company safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with all organizational levels and external business partners
- Consistent daily communication with MHS Foreman regarding all project aspects
- Maintain clean work and storage areas
- Regularly work towards task and skill improvement
- Protect entrepreneurial information and workplace confidentiality
- Always demonstrate a high level of professionalism
- Produce high quality level of work
- Attend daily stand-up meetings and implement actions as directed
- Be aware of project timeline requirements and work diligently towards meeting them
- Attend all required internal and external business meetings
- Consistently positively represent Zone 4 through behaviors, performance, and communication
- Perform side responsibilities as needed and requested by supervisor
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Travel is required.
- OSHA 10 or 30 is a plus but not required
- Equipment Certifications (Forklift/Scissor lift etc.) is a plus but not required
- Experience installing storage rack, conveyor, and automation systems is a plus but not required
This is a full-time position.
