We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an unmanned aerial systems (UAS) company, we are looking for an individual with experience in microcontroller design, schematic capture, board layout, and system bring up. The ideal candidate should have experience diagnosing and troubleshooting circuits in UAS platforms and should be familiar with Altium for circuit board design.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and test electrical systems and components for UAS platforms
- Develop and debug microcontroller systems and circuits
- Work with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems into UAS platforms
- Develop and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and documentation for electrical systems in UAS platforms
- Select and specify components for electrical systems in UAS platforms
- Develop and perform electrical tests and test procedures to verify system functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical systems
Target Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in Altium for circuit board design
- Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting circuits in UAS platforms
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuits, power supplies, and CAN bus communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Expected Roles:
- 3 Months: Work on existing UAS electrical systems projects, learning our development processes and systems. Participate in cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into UAS platforms.
- 6 Months: Take on more responsibility, including leading small electrical systems projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Become familiar with UAS electrical systems standards and certifications.
- 12 Months: Help drive new UAS electrical systems initiatives and play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our UAS electrical systems. Mentor junior electrical engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the electrical team.

Salary : $120,000 - $180,000
