Position Overview:
Term: 6-month, contract to hire
Location: Tampa, FL onsite
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00
Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm
What you’ll do as the DevOps Engineer:
- Prior Experience as a Systems Engineer, Application Engineer, Automation Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Software Engineer
- Experience building and maintaining CICD workflows in Puppet/Chef/Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps
- Experience administering GIT based version control platforms (GitHub/GitLab/Git Premise)
- Experience with Linux System Administration and orchestration (Any Distribution)
- Scripting Experience with Windows (Powershell and CMD) and Linux Server (Shell/Bash)
- Development Experience and general fluency with one or more programming languages (C/Python/Java/JS/Perl/Lisp/Rust/.NET)

- Experience with Database Administration (MSSQL/TSQL/PostgreSQL/MySQL/MariaDB/OracleDB)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Podman/Kubernetes/EKS)
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud administration.
Nice to Have:
- Experience administering O365 cloud platform apps (Office, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange)
- Experience administering or working with Service Management platforms (Jira/ServiceNow/Cherwell)
- Experience administering or working with Software Development Lifecycle frameworks
- Experience administering or working with automated Testing frameworks
- Experience administering virtualized server environments (VMWare/HyperV)
- Experience with Windows Server Administration
- Experience assisting Java Developers to review and debug code
