What are the responsibilities and job description for the (2) Special Education Instructional Health Assistants (2024-2025) - Zoneton Middle position at Zoneton Middle School?
These positions are for the 2024-2025 school year.
Candidate will provide assistance for students with special needs particularly students with learning behavior disabilities.
Candidate will need to be able to attend training for the position.
Candidate must meet all qualifications necessary to be hired for the position as instructional assistant.

There are 2 positions for 6.5 hours per day and 170 student instructional days, 4 paid holidays, 7 planning days and 2 extended days for a total of 183 days per year. (Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date.)
- Must have 48 semester hours, an Associates Degree or have a high school diploma and have passed the paraeducator assessment exam. Must provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.

Step 10: $19.19
New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE: It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)
This position is considered a ten month employee on the pay schedule. 4 paychecks will be paid at the end of June.
