Job Title: FinOps Engineer
Location: Cincinnati OH, Charlotte NC, Chicago IL, Portland OR, San Jose CA, Boca Raton FL - hybrid 3 days
Duration: 6 month
Cost optimizing experience:
- Needing someone who has been in the hot seat before- has "spend" attached to their name
- Use AI/ML models to predict future cloud expenses based on historical retail sales trends.
- Implement cloud cost monitoring tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, and GCP Billing to track expenses across departments
- Ensures that cloud spending is optimized while maintaining performance, security, and scalability.
- What they are lacking the most- someone with architectural skills that can assist with realizing the cost of automation and find more opportunities
- Retail experience would be beneficial
