Job Title- oracle finance stream lead
Location- Alsip, IL
Hybrid Role- 3 days onsite
Description:
- Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end financial processes within the Oracle Fusion ERP system.
- Collaborate with the System Integrator (SI) to ensure all financial requirements are accurately captured and integrated into the system.
- Ensure the ERP system supports essential financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, reporting, and financial controls.
- Oversee the validation of financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness throughout the ERP implementation process.
- Work closely with the SI to develop and execute comprehensive data migration plans.
- Ensure data integrity is maintained during the data migration process.
- Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, including finance and business teams, to gather system requirements and provide updates on project progress.
- Advise and guide stakeholders, challenging and influencing practices to ensure future-state designs are optimized for efficiency and end-user experience.
- Facilitate clear communication between the finance teams, project teams, and SI to ensure alignment.
- Ensure the Oracle ERP system adheres to financial regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Identify potential risks associated with the ERP implementation and work proactively to mitigate them.
- Ensure that financial processes and systems are designed in a way that minimizes risk and supports long-term compliance.
- Co-design and co-deliver training programs for finance staff on the new ERP system.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to finance users post-implementation to ensure successful adoption and usage of the new system.
- Work closely with other project streams, including PMO, technical, functional, data, and change management teams, to ensure a cohesive approach across the project.
- Collaborate with the SI to align on project goals, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring financial processes are implemented smoothly and effectively.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in finance roles, with at least 1 full ERP implementation cycle.
- Proven track record in managing financial processes and validating financial data in ERP implementations.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and standards, including value chain management and financial controls.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software, with specific experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP preferred.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
- Experience working in a global or multinational organization is advantageous
