Responsibilities
- Greet patients upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently.
- Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and insurance information.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and communication.
- Process patient insurance claims and verify eligibility as needed.
- Educate patients on office policies, procedures, and services offered.
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Proficiency in office software applications and electronic health record systems is desirable.
