Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Client Relations Specialist to join our team at Zoom Room Lakewood. This vital role is the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and contributing to the smooth daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, organized, and personable individual with a genuine love for dogs and a knack for building strong relationships. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from nurturing existing client relationships to supporting our training team and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Client Relationship Management:
- Proactively follow up with existing clients regarding package renewals and ensure their continued satisfaction.
- Contact leads and prospects to schedule Orientation sessions and effectively communicate the value of Zoom Room's services.
- Serve as the friendly and knowledgeable front desk representative, greeting clients and their dogs with enthusiasm.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally via phone, email, and in person.
- Manage and maintain accurate client files and records.
- Provide informative and engaging Orientation sessions to new clients, introducing them to Zoom Room's philosophy and offerings.
- Operational Support:
- Develop and manage the staff work schedule and class assignments, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency.
- Assist with light cleaning and organization of the facility to maintain a welcoming and safe environment.
- Manage relationships with vendors as needed, including ordering supplies and coordinating services.
- Monitor and track client dog vaccination records, proactively following up on expirations and requesting updated documentation.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and notes related to clients and facility operations.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to dog trainers and other staff members on various tasks.
- Sales and Retail:
- Actively promote and sell Zoom Room's training packages, workshops, and retail products.
- Understand our service offerings and retail inventory to effectively address client needs and provide recommendations.
- Process payments and manage point-of-sale transactions accurately.
- Organize and restock retail products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- Proven experience in a customer service, sales, or administrative role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and comfortable learning new software.
- A genuine passion for dogs and a commitment to positive reinforcement training methods.
- Ability to handle dogs safely and comfortably (though direct training of dogs is not required).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Must be comfortable being around dogs of all breeds and sizes.
Non-Compete and Non-Solicitation:
As a condition of employment, the Client Relations Specialist will be required to sign an agreement that they will not, during their employment and for a reasonable period thereafter, engage in or be employed by any dog training or boarding business that directly competes with Zoom Room Lakewood within a specified geographic area. Furthermore, the employee agrees not to solicit or attempt to solicit any of Zoom Room Lakewood's clients for their own benefit or the benefit of any competing business.
