Job Summary
Zoom Twin Cities Music School is hiring a passionate and reliable Guitar and/or Voice Instructor to join our growing team! This flexible part-time role involves teaching in-home lessons across the Twin Cities and optionally from your own teaching space. You’ll also collaborate with fellow instructors, help organize recitals, and create lesson recap videos. Perfect for musicians who love teaching, performing, and making an impact.

Responsibilities
Provide weekly private guitar and/or voice lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
Travel to students’ homes (must have access to a car)
Optionally host lessons at your own home studio (preferred but not required)
Maintain a friendly, professional relationship with students and families
Record brief lesson recap videos and upload to Google Drive
Communicate with ZTC admin for scheduling and student updates
Participate in recitals and performance events
Collaborate with other instructors for group projects, student showcases, and media content

Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in guitar and/or vocal performance and instruction
Prior teaching experience preferred (formal or informal)
Reliable transportation for travel to student homes
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Basic tech skills: using a smartphone for video recording and file sharing via Google Drive
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
(Bonus) Has a private studio or teaching space available
(Bonus) Experience with recitals, performance coaching, or group classes
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From $72.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 5 per week
