We are currently searching for an Fleet Manager who enjoys interacting with customers both in person and over the phone. This position is responsible for assisting with taking inbound customer sales calls, parts inventory, overseeing vehicle staging and loading, and assisting mechanics and drivers when needed. We are looking for someone who has a fun personality and who enjoys assisting all tourists and locals with their golf cart rental needs, both in store and out of store by delivering an unparalleled customer service experience, while also being a team player internally.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Experience handling inbound sales calls, as well as storefront sales
- Ability to close sales while setting proper expectations with customers
- Experience utilizing Point of Sales Systems
- Ability to execute delivery and pickup schedules daily
- Delivery driving experience with truck and trailer
- Ensuring a safe environment for employees through adherence to safety policies, assessing and eliminating hazards, improving housekeeping standards, conducting incident investigations, and implementing corrective action
- Ensuring accurate inventory control of all onsite vehicles & parts inventory
- Planning and recommending necessary product workflows
- Putting together projects, managing the projects, and ensuring projects are on track from start to finish
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing open items & vehicle repairs with Club Car, including warranties
- Assist with Inbound Sales Calls and Reservations
- Routing Delivery & Pickup Schedules
- Oversee the completion of driver routes
- Oversee vehicle repair progress
- Oversee shop parts, inventory, parts ordering & tool organization
- Assist with delivering & picking up golf cart rentals when needed
- Assist with vehicle inspections, repairs & detailing when needed
- Oversee vehicle quality control
- Oversee large projects
- Oversee vehicle staging and cart readiness
- Oversee & responsible for internal operational projects and their progress
- Assist with staff scheduling and overhead budgeting
- Assist with internal day-to-day operations with Leadership Team
- Oversee Fleet Catalog & Cart Statuses
- Assist with Cart Insurance
- Assist with all cart, vehicle & trailer registration renewals
- Communicate directly with Leadership on shop/team member performance & escalate any/all concerns or issues
- Travel to and assist with operations in both Florida & North Carolina locations
- Eventually assist with monthly & quarterly reporting for Owners (Partners)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Sales or Leadership Experience 3 years (preferred)
- Prior leadership experience, leading a team or multiple projects
- Demonstrated successful management or leadership in stressful situations
- Must enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment within a rapidly growing company
- Must have a clean driving record for at least 5 years to be able to driver street legal golf carts if/when needed
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook & Excel
- Ability to send out quality and professional emails
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting.
- Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time
- Communicate effectively in person, by telephone, or by using telecommunications equipment
- Enters and locates information on computer
- Visually verifies information, often in small print
- Presents information to small and large groups
- Safely operates motor vehicles
- Experience driving trucks & trailers

SCHEDULE
Friday to Tuesday 8:30AM – 5:30PM. *Weekends, Holidays & 6 days a week as needed*
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
