Job Summary: Join our Zoomin Groomin team as a Master Pet Groomer! We're a mobile pet grooming service, bringing top-notch grooming right to our clients' doorsteps. If you're passionate about grooming both cats and dogs and have expert skills, we'd love to have you on board.
Responsibilities:
- Mobile Grooming: Travel to clients' homes in our fully equipped grooming van to provide grooming services.
- Grooming Services: Perform grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling for both cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes.
- Pet Safety: Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions, addressing any health concerns like skin conditions or parasites.
- Client Interaction: Consult with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and preferences, offering expert advice on grooming styles and maintenance.
- Training: Mentor and train junior groomers, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Equipment Care: Maintain grooming tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and in good working condition.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of grooming services provided, including any health issues observed and treatments administered.
- Van Maintenance: Assist in managing the grooming van, including scheduled maintenance appointments, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Marketing Events: Assist with local marketing events and vendor spaces to promote our services, engage with the community, and attract new clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional pet grooming experience.
- Certification: Certification from a recognized grooming school or association is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent grooming skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
- Communication: Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with pet owners.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift pets of various sizes.
- Driving: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
