SUMMARY 

The Product Manager is passionate about building products that our customers love. The Product Manager manages, plans and coordinates the development of new products and enhancements of existing products based on short- and long-term needs. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. 



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth 
  • Develops sales forecasts and implements pricing schedules that provide revenue and margins growth while remaining competitive in the market 
  • Define product strategy and roadmap based on customer needs, market research, staffing requirements and business objectives. 
  • Develops and maintains product documentation, product instructions and user guides, product metrics and sales and marketing content strategy 
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product alignment and successful launches. 
  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including feature prioritization and roadmap planning. 
  • Analyze customer feedback, product performance metrics, and market trends to continually improve product offerings. 
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners 
  • Communicates quality control plan to the product and services team and oversees the implementation of the plan 
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies 
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes 
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact 
  • Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members 
  • May attend tradeshows to promote products and services offered. 
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed 
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services 


EDUCATION  

  • MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.  


EXPERIENCE 

  • Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager. 
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle. 
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management. 
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job. 
  • Proven project management and budgeting skills. 
  • Proficient at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 


COMPENTENCIES AND REQUIRED SKILLS 

  • Ability to transform consumer insights and dreams into realistic new product development. 
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing. 
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management for marketing initiatives. 
  • Proficient in using analytics tools to measure campaign performance and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Experience in product management and e-commerce is a plus


TRAVEL 

    • Must be willing to travel to conferences and/or events as needed. 


SALARY 

  • Between $100k -$110k
