The Quality Assurance Analyst position within the BA/QA Group is responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans and test scripts, and adhering to Zoot’s Testing and QA processes. The Quality Assurance Analyst position is fast paced and ever changing, requiring flexibility, self-initiative, and regular management of changing priorities.

Essential Job Functions
- Understand and adhere to Zoot’s testing and quality assurance processes.
- Understand Zoot Capabilities and supported platform types in order to support the project team, Service Desk, and the client.
- Work with other departments to ensure high quality and timely releases.
- Work with Business Analysts to review and understand requirement specifications.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases that tie back to requirements specifications.
- Prioritize, plan, and execute testing activities.
- Identify, thoroughly document, and track defects.
- Work with clients during their user acceptance testing efforts.
- Continually support platforms through production.
- Constantly analyze and strive to improve Zoot’s QA process, and propose recommendations for changes or additions to processes to Group Manager when applicable.
- Know and comply with Zoot’s Policies and Procedures, Code of Business Conduct, and Employee Agreement.
- Achieve a service-focused culture with emphasis on delivering on time, high quality solutions to internal and external customers

Education, Training, and Experience Requirements
This position requires:
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor Degree Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Finance, or related field required.
- Experience Previous experience and knowledge in developing and maintaining Quality Assurance policies required.
Previous experience in Quality Assurance roles in software development or other related industries preferred.
Previous experience utilizing JIRA preferred.
Or, an equal combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
- All positions at Zoot require the ability to move about inside an office environment which includes the operation of computers and other office productivity machinery and frequently communicates with other employees, clients, vendors, and visitors.
- This position specifically requires sitting for long periods at a computer work station.
Working Conditions
- In order to optimize team performance, the work space for this position is typically a cubicle setting in an open space environment.
Work Hours and Location
- It is expected that exempt employees and specifically this position, regularly and consistently report to work on-site, at Zoot headquarters during normal business hours.
- This position will not be required to travel.
Occasional nighttime and weekend work is required within the position.
