Role: Mainframe Developer
Location: Onsite (Toronto)
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
Mainframe ( 10 years experience) Production support experience Critical thinking and problem solving skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new/different situations. Ability to troubleshoot complex problems to determine root cause. Ability to work independently. Ability to take ownership of a task and see it through to completion. Knowledge of SDLC (waterfall, DEVOPS, Agile) Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Mainframe development Cobol development and maintenance experience CICS Easytrieve Endeavor / Libman experience Vector application (exceptions and returns) Cheque clearing application experience. Intria experience Banking / Cheque processing experience
