Position Summary – Production Supervisor
Oversees the day to day activities of production staff in an manufacturing setting. Organizes and monitors workflow on the production floor. Coordinates with Process Improvement to improve employee efficiency to maximize production output and profits. Ensures production floor is clean and safe for all personnel. Reports directly to the Director of Manufacturing but will collaborate with other departments (QC, Training, Operations, etc.) to ensure that output is being maximized through productivity and quality.
Job Duties
- Implements, coordinates, and enforces Zpacks systems, policies, and procedures.
- Continually strives to meet and exceed quality standards.
- Develops, implements, and enforces production methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality and revenue.
- Exhibits and supports a culture of lean, continuous improvement and project execution.
- Provides leadership, management, and motivation to attain high levels of employee achievement and retention.
- Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
- Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, and answering questions and responding to requests.
- Works with Process Improvement to recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards such as occupational health and safety and customer requirements.
- Nurtures cooperation and communication within the team and other departments.

Experience
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 1-2 years of leadership experience required
- 1-2 years related experience within manufacturing industry preferred
- 6 months to 1 year of sewing experience preferred
Other Requirements
- MUST be able to start shift daily no later than 8am/5 days a week with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
