About the Role
As a skilled RF test and automation engineer at Airspan Networks, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the high performance of our wireless solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to characterize the performance of power amplifiers against 3GPP requirements. This involves making output power, emission, and efficiency measurements on various power amplifier line-ups.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Test GaN and LDMOS power amplifier circuits for high-powered macro radio base stations to ensure they meet requirements for output power, efficiency, emissions, and EVM under different waveform conditions.
- Optimize DPD models/parameters for the best amplifier performance.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. Additionally, you should have engineering class or work experience with RF lab equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
A strong understanding of Python programming language is also essential. Experience with Matlab is a plus. Familiarity with 5G and LTE radio access technology is highly desirable. Any experience with automation is considered an advantage.
