About the Role
As a SW Manager, you will join Airspan’s dynamic and highly experienced team, working to expand our capabilities in developing software for radio base stations that support multiple radio access technologies, including 5G, 4G/LTE, and GSM.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop a new SW team to design and develop software on state-of-the-art RFSoC chips.
- Develop and maintain planning inputs, release schedules, feature estimates and other internal documentation.
- Analyze requirements and work with product management on roadmap development.
- Support internal and external teams in debug sessions and other joint ventures.
- Identify, communicate and perform risk management related to SW design, team, or product.
- Drive continuous improvements of processes and product quality
- Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) or Master’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science in an accredited institution.
- Hands-on expertise with large-scale embedded software projects and leading development large teams. Experience with global teams in multiple locations will be a plus.
- Understanding of applicable wireless technologies (e.g., LTE, 5G-NR) and industry standards (e.g., 3GPP, FCC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
