We're looking for an experienced Android Software Engineer to join our Mobile team. The Mobile team at Zscaler develops a cross-platform client application for Windows, MacOS, Android and Linux, to securely steer endpoint traffic to Zscaler cloud.
Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, you will:
- Work with Product Management to understand requirements and customer needs.
- Design networking software and SDKs using the latest software development techniques.
- Analyze software performance data to identify and address issues related to reliability and quality.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 3 years software development experience, with emphasis on networking-based applications and you have experience with Android app development experience
- Experience with object-oriented languages including Java/Kotlin & C/C
- Experience with networking protocols like TLS/DTLS/HTTPS/DNS
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Good understanding of network security concepts such as PKI, VPN and firewall
