We’re looking for an experienced Manager, Site Reliability Engineering (Federal) to lead our ZPA team. This role requires Secret Security Clearance that you must maintain throughout employment. An Information Assurance Technician Level 2 Certification is also required, but you can obtain this certification within your first few weeks of employment. Reporting to the Senior Manager, SRE, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of SREs responsible for the operational health of Federal cloud products, including deployments, on-call operations, and incident resolution
- Define strategies to improve scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud infrastructure in compliance with FedRAMP/IL6 standards
- Oversee automated management of AWS and private cloud environments to drive operational efficiency
- Establish documentation, incident prevention processes, and alignment with best practices for escalation and DevOps
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams to meet SLA requirements
What We're Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)
- 7 years of relevant experience, including 2 years of managerial or team leadership experience in SRE, DevOps, or similar roles within regulated frameworks.
- Deep understanding of FedRAMP authorization levels and experience implementing vulnerability management programs
- Proficiency in Linux administration, infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and software like Python
- Strong expertise in container-based architectures (e.g., AWS ECS, Kubernetes), cloud services, and networking protocols (e.g., DNS, SSL)
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to the nature of the customers assigned to this role.
