We are seeking an experienced Dayforce Payroll Business Systems Analyst to join our Corporate IT Business Applications team. You will be responsible for analyzing, configuring, testing, and supporting the Dayforce HCM (Human Capital Management) and Payroll modules. You will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure efficient payroll operations, system functionality, and timely issue resolution. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Finance Applications, you will:
- Manage and maintain the Dayforce Payroll system by configuring pay policies, tax settings, deductions, and benefits to align with organizational needs and compliance requirements, while collaborating with HR, payroll, and IT teams to optimize system setup and functionality.
- Gather and document payroll requirements while working with stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities for automation, enhancing processes and system efficiency.
- Design and execute test cases for system updates and configurations, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets business needs.
- Partner with IT to integrate Dayforce Payroll with HRIS, benefits, and finance systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with tax regulations while generating required payroll reports.
- Train payroll staff on system functionality, maintain comprehensive documentation, and recommend improvements by staying informed on the latest Dayforce features and industry trends.
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in Dayforce Payroll or a similar HCM system (e.g., Workday, ADP).
- Proven expertise in payroll processing, data integration, and reporting within a business systems environment, with a strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and benefits administration.
- Proficiency in the Dayforce HCM platform, particularly in Payroll, Time and Attendance, and Benefits modules, with experience in system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Solid knowledge of data integration techniques, including EDI, API, and file-based integrations, with familiarity in SQL and data query tools considered a plus.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Dayforce certification or formal training.
- Experience supporting large or complex payroll operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems integration and familiarity with other modules, such as HR, Recruiting, and Benefits.
