Job Description: We are conducting a search for a Director of Construction to join our rapidly expanding team. This high-impact leadership role offers direct access to the CEO and a clear path to a future VP position.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversight of all construction operations to ensure timely completion, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Providing strategic leadership and direction for a growing team of project managers, superintendents, and construction professionals.
- Closely working with the CEO and executive leadership to shape the company's growth strategy and operational processes.
- Maintenance and enhancement of relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive successful project execution.
- Implementation of best practices, safety standards, and operational efficiencies to optimize project delivery.
- Identification and mentorship of emerging talent within the organization to build a strong leadership pipeline.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in a general contracting environment; Owner's Representative candidates will also be considered.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management with a proven track record in commercial, retail, and interior fit-out projects.
- Experience in a senior leadership role such as Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, Director of Operations, or Senior Superintendent.
- Strong understanding of construction operations, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and lead a dynamic team.
