Duties and Responsibilities:
Organizational Relationship:
This individual reports to the Vice President of Sales, Construction and works closely with a variety of
departments throughout the company.
Travel & Location Requirements:
This position requires approximately 70% travel and can be based out of various locations in the
Southeast territory of the United States, including but not limited to:
Southeast: FL, GA, NC, TX, AL, TN

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
- Identify and target new clients and markets for steel products.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
- Stay updated on the latest steel industry trends, products, and technologies.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge and technical information to customers.
- Collaborate with technical teams to address customer inquiries and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare accurate and competitive price quotes for customers.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals.
- Ensure pricing and contract compliance.
- Frequently travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct site visits.
- Provide after-sales support and address customer concerns or issues.
- Collaborate with inside sales and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proven track record of generating and closing sales in related industries.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in outside sales within the construction and building
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans.
- Proficient in establishing connections within relevant industries and markets.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service and support to clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective presentations and reports
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools to track performance and manage
