We are searching for a Quality Engineer to join our client’s growing team.
Duties of the Quality Engineer include :
- Technical support of Operations and Sales by providing product knowledge on Quality Functions and Specifications
- Direct interaction with customers, and supplier representatives on industry specifications for compliance
- Investigate product complaints to identify root causes
- Implement corrective and preventative actions
- Knowledge in product development, problem solving, root cause investigation, corrective actions, effectiveness evaluations
- Creating and / or interpreting Quality related documentation and performing process capability and process performance analysis
- Apply strategic tools to improve process capability, eliminate defects, along with implementing / maintaining the QMS (Quality Management System)
- Assist in process audits
- Lead role in ISO certification
- Work with operations to order and maintain calibration records on measurement tools
- Perform Charpy testing along with lab testing backup
