About the Role:
We seek an experienced Director of Construction to lead our operations. This role involves overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of all construction operations to guarantee timely completion, adherence to budget, and exceptional quality standards.
- Providing strategic leadership and direction to a growing team of project managers, superintendents, and construction professionals.
- Closely collaborating with executive leadership to shape the company's growth strategy and operational processes.
- Maintaining and enhancing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive successful project execution.
- Implementing best practices, safety standards, and operational efficiencies to optimize project delivery.
- Identifying and mentoring emerging talent within the organization to build a strong leadership pipeline.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a general contracting environment or as an Owner's Representative.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record in commercial, retail, and interior fit-out projects.
- Senior leadership experience in roles such as Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, Director of Operations, or Senior Superintendent.
- Strong understanding of construction operations, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
