What are the responsibilities and job description for the Steel Detailer position at ZSG?
We are searching for a Detailer/Drafter to join our client’s growing team. Must have Pre-engineered Metal Building Experience. The ideal candidate will have 2D and 3D drafting software skills. The Detailer will be responsible for detailing all parts of metal building systems including structural steel, wall and roof panel, and flashing/trim.
Basic Functions:
- Creating construction drawings using specialized software
- Generating and verifying fabrication drawings and reports
- Generating bill of materials for field construction
- Designing and troubleshooting steel framing conditions
- Ensuring all products are of quality
Qualifications:
- High School or GED Diploma
- Accredited training, certification, or professional experience operating Architectural CAD software or 3D modeling software
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
