Position Summary :

A regional CPA firm is seeking an experienced Financial Due Diligence (Transaction Services) Senior Manager to join their growing Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, advise clients on key deal issues, and play a pivotal role in the firm's M&A advisory practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in financial due diligence, proven leadership skills, and a deep expertise in transaction strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage financial due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients on both buy-side and sell-side transactions.
  • Analyze and assess financial statements, quality of earnings, working capital, and key deal metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and present diligence reports, highlighting key findings and their implications on deal structuring and valuation.
  • Collaborate with clients, investment bankers, attorneys, and internal teams to provide strategic transaction insights.
  • Mentor and manage junior team members, ensuring high-quality execution of financial analyses and client deliverables.
  • Stay up to date with M&A trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes impacting transactions.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, client pitches, and market outreach initiatives.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in public accounting, including at least 3 years in financial due diligence.
  • Strong expertise in analyzing financial statements, quality of earnings, and working capital trends.
  • Proven ability to lead deal teams, manage multiple engagements, and communicate findings effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, business acumen, and attention to detail.
  • Strong client relationship management and business development capabilities.
