Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to oversee our parts department, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have expertise in OEM parts, shipping / receiving, supply chain management, demand planning, customer service, sourcing, inventory control, and procurement.
Duties
- Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize parts department efficiency
- Oversee shipping and receiving processes to ensure accurate and timely deliveries
- Collaborate with suppliers to source quality parts at competitive prices
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date.
- Implement demand planning techniques to forecast part needs accurately
- Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
- Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all parts department staff.
