Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Used Car Sales Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle sales department. The ideal candidate will be a skilled leader with the ability to develop and motivate a high-performing sales team, drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the used car sales department, ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Oversee the inventory of used vehicles, ensuring stock levels are maintained and inventory is properly priced and marketed.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Monitor the sales process, including vehicle pricing, trade-in evaluations, and vehicle appraisals.
  • Stay current on market trends and competitor activities to ensure competitive pricing and positioning.
  • Collaborate with the finance and service departments to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, manufacturer standards, and legal requirements.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in automotive sales, with at least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role (preferably in used car sales).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on employee development and motivation.
  • In-depth knowledge of the used car market, including pricing, vehicle appraisals, and inventory management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong customer and team relationships.
  • Results-driven with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive profitability.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in using dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
