Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to ensure efficient office operations. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office management, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks effectively. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing clerical duties, maintaining organized records, and ensuring smooth communication within the office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage phone systems and handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date in our computerized systems.
  • Organize and maintain office files, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access to important documents.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars for team members.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations as needed to support various projects.
  • Coordinate office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Support office management tasks including filing, scanning, and photocopying documents.
  • Collaborate with team members on special projects and provide administrative support as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a related clerical role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accurate records and data entry tasks.
  • Previous experience with office management practices is a plus but not required.

    Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : $14.00 - $16.50 per hour

    Expected hours : 40 – 50 per week
