About The Role
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the effective working conditions of all equipment within the facility. This position will have the responsibility to replace and update controls system hardware, program new and/or modify controls programming, troubleshoot systems, support calibration of controls equipment and sensors, and other duties as needed to ensure proper function of the site’s building systems. This role is based in our Georgetown, Texas facility.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose equipment failures, find root causes, and communicate actions taken to the rest of the team.
- Act as an expert-level trainer on all machines in the assigned areas and be responsible for training the Shift Technicians.
- Create, implement, and improve project management documents and schedules.
- Provide daily coverage of production line equipment by quickly responding to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests to minimize downtime.
- Perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds.
- Participate in spare part analysis and inventory development, cost reduction, and improvement projects.
- Investigate and implement countermeasures to prevent repetitive breakdowns.
- Develop business cases for improvement projects and equipment acquisitions.
What You bring
- Associate’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- 4 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
- HMI experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical code
