What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Demand Planning Senior Manager position at ZT Systems?
ZT Systems is looking for a Global Warranty / RMA Planning & Operations Senior Manager to build & lead a team responsible for demand planning, inventory placement and order fulfillment to keep ZT equipment highly available for customers. The right person must be a team player who takes pride in personal excellence and displays a high level of energy and work ethic. This role will focus on supporting customers and field services teams in positioning spare part inventories to meet global warranty and repair service levels. The successful candidate also designs and influences system and process improvement to automate warranty operations and improve visibility on daily service level execution. He or she will report to the Director of Business Planning but will be working closely with warehouse operations, field services, engineering quality, and several other departments within the company to support the company’s existing and new products.
What You Will Do
- Develop and manage a high performing team that thrives with the ambiguity of supply planning and execution
- Plan warranty and spare parts inventory to meet performance metrics and capital allocation targets
- Monitor actual inventory usage versus plan to adjust future plans and to report any risks to the business
- Transform and manage warranty planning & operations to meet customer requirements and scale with ZT’s growth
- Perform data analysis and presentation through Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar tools to drive business & technical decisions
- Develop an automation roadmap and define business requirements for cross-functional programs that improve consistency and visibility of execution to plans
- Drive continuous improvement and automation efforts of program delivery capabilities in parallel to day-to-day business operations
- Build strong working relationships across multiple disciplines and global teams (Quality Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Field Services, etc.), driving process improvements and lowering financial risk
