About The Role
ZT Systems is seeking a Staff Materials and Inventory Analyst who will be based out of our Secaucus, NJ office, reporting directly to our Senior Manager of Operations. The Staff Materials and Inventory Analyst must be detail-oriented, organized, and have a high level of comfort in working with numbers. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate professionally and clearly and will also have strong analytical, computer, and verbal skills. This position interfaces with Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Demand Planning, and Operations.

ZT Systems is seeking a Staff Materials and Inventory Analyst who will be based out of our Secaucus, NJ office, reporting directly to our Senior Manager of Operations. The Staff Materials and Inventory Analyst must be detail-oriented, organized, and have a high level of comfort in working with numbers. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate professionally and clearly and will also have strong analytical, computer, and verbal skills. This position interfaces with Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Demand Planning, and Operations.
What You’ll Do
- Communicate with the Manufacturing schedule/planning team on the material status
- Efficiently managed and monitored production demands and inventory requirements
- Reviewing demand vs. supply to ensure a healthy supply plan
- Working with cross-function teams to streamline processes and ensuring accurate of inventory
- Monitor the incoming supply to enhanced flexibility and reduced internal line downtime risks
- Acted as a point of contact on material planning for issue escalations and resolution
- Understand root causes for shortages and drive actions to recover in the fastest possible duration
- Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvement
- Collaborate with the team to drive the most cost-effective plan
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Computer Science, Production Planning, Logistics or related field and 5 years of experience, preferably in Supply Chain/Production Planning within the electronics or server industry (alternatively a master’s degree with 3 years of experience)
- 2 years with Excel and Tableau for reporting and data analysis
- Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills
- Skilled in planning, organizing, prioritizing, attention to detail and accuracy
- Information gathering and information monitoring
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility, adaptability, and customer service orientation
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, organizational, and writing skills
