About The Role
The Outbound Warehouse Manager is responsible for inventory transfers between ZT sites, RTV / RMA shipping requests, and all internal customer shipping requests, both domestic and international, without any delays.
The Manager is responsible for establishing and documenting processes to support packing and shipping of product(s). Ensure Finished Goods shipments are staged prior to scheduled pick up.
Support daily shipping requirements and the execution of tasks and organization of all work with team members. Responsible for the correct staffing, absenteeism management, and performance management of the team.
The manager directs, leads and ensures that the department's objectives, as determined by the management team, are achieved.
What You’ll Do
- Provides coordination of all work in the department.
- Defines packaging processes, workflow and training team members.
- Ensure shipping timelines are met.
- Manage consumable requirements for the area.
- Ensure shipping compliance is met for all international shipments.
- Manage KPIs for on time Shipping metric.
- Ensures the correct presence and absence of registration of staff and personnel planning.
- Ensure that staff in the department are trained and have the right level of knowledge.
- Coordinate shipping requirements with cross functional teams.
- Establish a staging area to manage daily shipping requirements.
- Supports the team with knowledge of processes and standardization within department.
- Responsible for the implementation of corrective / preventive actions in its own department.
- Identifying bottlenecks and providing suggestions on policy and / or procedures and plans adjustments.
What You Bring
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and / or experience.
- 2-5 years of related warehouse experience.
- DG / IATA Certified.
- Strong leadership experience preferred (overseeing 5 direct reports).
- Forklift and heavy equipment experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Highly detailed planning and organization ability, multitask, set own priorities and adapt to a changing environment.
- ERP systems experience preferably with SAP and proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills.
